There are two dates to keep separate: the date a trial is expected to end, and the earlier date by which you want to complete your decision or cancellation. Trial Deadline calls the earlier date your cancellation deadline.
Start with the provider’s terms
Check the confirmation email, account page, or billing terms for the start time, trial length, renewal amount, time zone, and any cancellation cutoff. This site can calculate a planning date, but the provider’s terms control the actual charge and access.
Choose a safety buffer
Subtract a buffer from the expected end date. Two or three days is often a calmer choice than waiting until the final day, especially if you need to find an account setting or contact support.
Example: if a trial is expected to end on June 30 and you choose a 2-day buffer, set June 28 as your action date. This does not change the provider’s deadline; it gives you time before it.
Check the result before acting
- Confirm whether dates are counted in calendar days, weeks, or months.
- Check whether the provider shows a specific time and time zone.
- Read whether cancellation ends access immediately or at the end of the trial.
- Save the result in a calendar, then confirm directly with the provider when you decide.
