Cancel before a trial ends: what to check

A date alone is not enough. Check the provider’s terms before relying on it.

Look for the renewal rule

Trial offers may renew automatically, move you to a paid plan, or require cancellation before a particular date or time. Read the rule shown for your account rather than relying on a general description from another website.

Check whether access continues

Cancellation does not always mean the same thing. Some providers keep access active until the expected end of the trial, while others may change access immediately. The account’s cancellation screen or help page should explain this before you confirm.

Keep evidence of the result

After cancelling, save the confirmation email, reference number, or a screenshot of the confirmation screen if the provider supplies one. This is useful if the account page later takes time to update.

Important: Trial Deadline does not cancel subscriptions and is not affiliated with providers. It gives you an earlier planning date; only the provider can confirm a cancellation.
